About Qichuanghui
SD Qichuanghui (启创汇) was founded in October 2025. Building a business can be lonely. The six founders had each felt that isolation in their entrepreneurial or professional journeys, so they set out to create a small community where founders would not have to figure everything out alone.
Six people brought six different paths to the community:
Maoke Li (李茂科)
Maoke has worked in the medical industry for more than a decade. He founded 重跃云医疗科技 to help bring innovative medical products from China to wider markets.
“I want to be a ferryman for the medical industry, helping good products reach farther shores.”
Xiaofu “Cooper” Li (李肖甫)
Cooper holds a PhD in engineering from North Carolina State University and previously worked as an algorithm R&D engineer at ASML. He now focuses on vibration energy harvesting and founded VibraPower.
“I focus on turning waste into value, giving every tiny vibration a chance to power the world.”
Taotao “Scott” Jing (景涛涛)
Scott holds a PhD in artificial intelligence from a U.S. university and is a machine learning researcher at Qualcomm, where he focuses on research at the forefront of the field.

Lisa Yang
Lisa has extensive experience in real estate and also helps Chinese beauty brands expand into international markets.
“The value of connection is that no one has to figure things out alone.”
Yanlin Li (李彦霖)
Yanlin, PhD, MBA, is a self-described unconventional engineer in hardware and RF.
“I like finding the best solution in the simplest way.”
Jiechen “Jason” Wang (王劼辰)
Jason holds a master’s degree in data science from UC San Diego and focuses on research in agent systems and causal inference.
“I want to be an architect who understands art.”
We believe the most valuable conversations are shared exchanges, rather than one-way lectures. That belief led to our first startup salon. Since then, Qichuanghui has held 10 salons. Through this small platform, we share candid entrepreneurial experiences, build lasting connections and opportunities to collaborate, connect founders with investors and startup resources, and broaden our perspectives through informal conversation.

Moving Forward with CAST-SD
Qichuanghui is grateful for the opportunity to join the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, San Diego (CAST-SD). For more than 20 years, CAST-SD has brought together over a thousand experienced members from universities, research institutions, and technology companies. We value the chance to learn from this community and the people who built it.
As part of CAST-SD, we hope to bring Qichuanghui’s informal, interactive salon format to a larger platform. We hope it adds fresh energy to the community, while giving us the opportunity to learn from the experience and connections of CAST-SD’s longstanding members. We are only at the beginning of this journey, and we intend to take it one thoughtful step at a time.

关于启创汇
启创汇成立于2025年10月。创业路上是孤独的——六位发起人在各自的创业与专业道路上都有过类似的体会，于是想尝试搭建一个小小的平台，让创业者不必独自摸索。

李茂科
深耕医疗行业十余年，创办重跃云医疗科技，致力于把国内优秀的医疗产品带向更远的市场。

我们相信，真正有价值的交流不是单向的讲座，而是双向的分享与碰撞。于是，第一期创业分享沙龙就此开启。一年来，启创汇陆续办了10期沙龙，尝试通过这样一个小平台，分享真实的创业经验、建立长期的人脉与合作机会、链接投资人与创业资源，也在轻松的交流中拓展彼此的视野。

启创汇很珍惜这次能与圣地亚哥华人科学家协会（CAST-SD）携手同行的机会。科协二十余年深耕，汇聚了上千位来自高校、科研机构与高科技企业的资深前辈，这是一座我们愿意认真站上去、虚心学习的“巨人的肩膀”。
并入科协之后，我们最想做的，是把启创汇一直以来这种沙龙式、轻量互动的交流形式，带到科协这个更大的平台上，希望能为社群增添一点新的活力，也期待能从科协前辈们多年积累的经验与人脉中不断学习。这条路我们才刚刚开始，愿意慢慢走、认真走。
